Our Story

In June 2020, we lost one of OV’s Best Legends, Bobby Hall. Ever since he was a little boy, he loved sports and even more so into his adulthood. Bobby encouraged and shared this passion with ALL kids. Ever eager to get kids out there playing something or just attending any of their games to cheer them on from the stands. Many times, he was seen switching between the bleachers for both teams because he supported them all. We all know how much Bobby loved kids and the depth of his commitment to help them was deeper than any of us realized. The stories we have heard from those kids (many of them are now adults) are heart-warming. No kid was ever left out when Bobby was involved. We are starting a foundation in memory of Bobby Hall. The goal is to give equal opportunity to ALL kids that want to play sports but are financially unable. Continuing Bobby’s enthusiastic aspirations will make a difference in the children we support.

Our Mission

Youth sports are an important program for kids to build individual and team skills. Studies show that children involved in sports (and other activities) will succeed to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Youth sports have grown to be billion-dollar industry, and families now pay on average over $900 per child athlete per year. Sports are more costly than ever and unfortunately leaving low-income families left behind.

BH4NC is a non-profit organization founded in 2021. Our mission aims to ease the burden of player costs in local youth sports. By providing financial assistance to families and communities that lack sufficient resources, we hope to increase youth sports participation.
